the TriStar.
TAP
Air Portugal ordered three TriStar 500 in September 1979 with
options on two more. The order was only confirmed in October 1980
with the first of the five original aircrafts being delivered in
January 1983. TAP ended TriStar operations in 1997 and since then
some charter airlines kept this type flying in Portugal till today.
